Those who see Pope Francis as a global Marxist intent on helping to install a single world government and with it a world religion had their views reinforced by the Pope’s actions and words on Tuesday. In an interview in the French publication “La Croix,” Francis had some odd and troubling comments equating Christianity with Islam. Francis said, “I don’t think that there is a fear of Islam as such but of ISIS and its war of conquest, which is partly drawn from Islam. It is true that the idea of conquest is inherent in the soul of Islam. However, it is also possible to interpret the objective in Matthew’s Gospel, where Jesus sends his disciples to all nations, in terms of the same idea of conquest.” We’re not splitting hairs, Pope.
